House Majority Leader Chris Croft rounded out his staff Thursday, hiring new directors for policy and communications.
Croft announced that he hired Peter Barstad as his new policy director. Barstad now works as the legislative liaison for the Kansas Corporation Commission.
Barstad also worked as an analyst for the Kansas Health Institute and former Republican Gov. Jeff Colyer.
He received a bachelor's in political science and government from Benedictine College.
Croft also hired Michael Jacobson as director of communications.
Jacobson is majoring in political science at Kansas State University and will graduate in May. He previously served as a . . .
