Well, the nation is watching and Day 1 of Secretary of State Kris Kobach's showdown with the ACLU over voting rights didn't look like it went so well based on a piece from the Capital-Journal.
The Topeka paper paints a picture of Kobach fighting with witnesses and struggling to introduce evidence. At one point, the chief legal counsel in Kobach's office seemed to have problems with the rules of cross examination.
