(Updated to include a response from Skoog campaign)
Democratic state Sen. Ethan Corson flexed some communications muscle on Monday morning, announcing a nearly $1 million ad buy in the Kansas governor's race against primary rivals state Sen. Cindy Holscher and Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog.
The ad, first published by the Sunflower State Journal over the weekend, highlights his record of fighting for Medicaid expansion and abortion rights in the Kansas Senate.
He vows to stand up against President Donald Trump, federal immigration enforcement agents and "or anyone that comes for Kansans’ freedoms."
