Republican state Rep. Ken Corbet is recovering from injuries suffered in a tractor accident earlier this week.
Several sources confirmed that Corbet, 71, suffered multiple injuries when a tractor rolled over on him as he worked on the vehicle.
He was taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, where it was expected that he would undergo surgery on Thursday.
He is reported to be on the mend and is expected to be home by next Monday or Tuesday.
A constituent of Corbet's, Mike Reber, posted this on Facebook Wednesday.
