Convention of states fails in the Kansas House

A proposal asking Congress to call a constitutional convention to place limits on the federal government failed yet again to muster enough support for passage.

The House voted 76-43 to pass a resolution seeking to have Congress call a convention of states under Article V of the U.S. Constitution.
