A new poll out Thursday shows Kansas Republican Gov. Jeff Colyer with a narrow edge in the Kansas governor's race over Secretary of State Kris Kobach.

The survey by Remington Research Group shows Colyer leading the GOP field with 32 percent of the vote, according to the poll obtained by the Sunflower State Journal.

Kobach trailed with 29 percent, just outside the poll's margin of error of 2.5 percent.
