House Democrats have cut Rep.-elect Aaron Coleman out of new committee assignments, foreshadowing the anticipated effort to expel him for abusive behavior when the upcoming legislative session starts next month.
House Minority Leader Tom Sawyer did not include Coleman in the new committee appointments handed out on Wednesday, saying he had promised not to include him in this key part of the legislative process.
"I've been saying for months I wasn't going to give him any committee assignments," Sawyer said in an interview Wednesday night. "We didn't."
Sawyer said he expects a complaint to be filed . . .
