The coalition supporting the constitutional amendment on abortion introduced a new ad Wednesday comparing Kansas to California.
The new ad brings total broadcast spending in the amendment campaign to nearly $6.7 million with the election now about four weeks away.
The new ad is split between the Wichita and Topeka markets as of Wednesday morning.
So far, opponents of the amendment - Kansans for Constitutional Freedom - have spent or booked about $3.4 million in broadcast ads for the campaign.
