Businesses want to add jobs, but worry about labor force

The quality and the availability of the workforce is the top concern facing Kansas businesses as they head into the new year, a new survey shows.

A survey of 300 business owners and executives by the Kansas Chamber of Commerce shows that 27% expressed worry about the workforce.

Workforce concerns topped other issues such as taxes, government regulations, health care, education, the economy, government leadership and COVID-19 - all of which were under 10% each in the new survey.
