Sara Hart Weir turned to that old Democratic foil — former Gov. Sam Brownback — to help win the Republican primary in the 3rd Congressional District against Amanda Adkins.
"I was a little surprised we haven't seen the Brownback connection before now," said Washburn University political scientist Bob Beatty. "It's so easy."
