Legislation was coming fast and furious overnight Thursday into Friday as lawmakers polished off some heavy pieces of legislation as they raced to their spring break.
Legislators became increasingly irritable throughout the night as they faced tough debate on some very difficult - if not emotional - issues at the most unusual of hours.
There were a couple of attempts to cut off debate and adjourn early, but those failed to succeed.
We thought we would give you snippets of the most significant news from overnight given that it's difficult to field so many line drives coming at one time.
