Abortion opponents on Thursday revealed plans for allowing the Legislature to regulate abortion despite a state Supreme Court ruling that found the procedure is protected by the state constitution.

The proposed measure, if passed by two-thirds of the Legislature, would be placed on this year's primary ballot when it's believed to have the best chance of passing, although overall voter turnout would be higher in the general . . .
