Kansas House passes constitutional amendment

Just days after it failed to get the votes needed to pass, a proposed constitutional amendment giving the Legislature the power to reject rules and regulations adopted by executive branch agencies was approved by the House.

The House voted 85-39 to pass the amendment, which would go on the general election ballot this fall. It now goes to the Senate.

The proposal picked up five votes from last week when the amendment failed gain . . .
