The filing deadline for Kansas House candidates passed at noon Monday.
As of Monday night, there were 260 candidates who have filed for House seats, including 136 Republicans and 124 Democrats.
There are 25 Republican primaries and 18 Democratic primaries.
The list of candidates can still see some minor changes between now and Thursday to settle any questions about candidates' eligibility to run.
Most notably on Monday, former Democratic state Rep. Jason Probst of Hutchinson filed to run again in the 102nd House District. He was unseated by Republican Rep. Kyler Sweely two years ago.
