Public affairs consultant dies at 73 after long bout with cancer

Public affairs consultant and corporate lobbyist Ron Gaches, regarded as a strategic and trustworthy adviser, died on Wednesday at 73 after a long battle with cancer.

After working as a corporate lobbyist, Gaches purchased the practice of Pete McGill & Associates in 1998, which two years later became Gaches, Braden & Associates where he became president and worked until 2015.

The firm continues today as Braden Heidner Lowe & Associates.
