Legislative leaders on Monday closed on a more than $3 billion deal to bring the Kansas City Chiefs to Kansas, ending the NFL franchise's relationship with Missouri for more than 60 years.
The Legislative Coordinating Council - made up of the top leaders in Legislature - voted unanimously to approve a deal extending incentives to the Kansas City Chiefs and producing the state's biggest economic development project in history.
