Attorney General Kris Kobach has done a little staff reshuffling, naming a new chief of staff and a new senior adviser.
As had been anticipated in political circles, Michelle Schroeder is Kobach's new chief of staff.
Charlie Dalton is stepping aside as chief of staff to become senior adviser, a position once held by state Sen. J.R. Claeys, who went to work for the Trump administration.
A spokesperson said Dalton recently got engaged and is set to be married. He switched his positions for more flexibility.
