Ethics Commission Executive Director Mark Skoglund on Wednesday resisted efforts to move him into a transitional role after he announced his plans to resign in mid-February.
The commission late Wednesday directed Skoglund immediately not to represent the agency at the Capitol on legislative and budgetary matters.
Those duties will be turned over to the commission's general counsel, Kaitlyn Bull Stewart.
