Incoming Senate Majority Leader Chase Blasi has announced the hiring of a new staff, including a former Revenue Department staffer who was the chair of a Republican-leaning political action committee.
Blasi has hired Matt Billingsley as his chief of staff. Billingsley served as chief of
staff for former Revenue Secretary Sam Williams in former Gov. Sam Brownback's administration.
Billingsley also was chair of the Lift Up political action committee, which has played a significant role in the last two election cycles as it raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Republican candidates and helped expand the GOP supermajority . . .
