Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday was diagnosed with COVID-19, moving back her annual State of the State address by a week.
The governor's office said that Kelly, 72, is fully vaccinated and is experiencing minor symptoms. Tuesday was the first day she had suffered symptoms.
The governor's office said Kelly is following the guidance of public health officials to self-isolate as she continues to work.
