Sunday Reader: Former statewide official joins lobbying firm; Angry residents confront Marshall

Good morning everyone:

It was a short but hectic week as the Legislature races to end this legislative session by April 12. Lots of bills flying out of committees and off the floors of either chamber.  Basically three days at the Capitol last week seemed like the more typical five days. Turning 60 last week is not helping the matter at all. It's harder to live off four hours sleep, although we are usually up and running each day by no later than 5:30 a.m. We run out of gas a lot faster than we used to . . .
