The state is recouping a little more than $11 million in Medicaid funding provided to school districts after an error was discovered that led to schools being paid for services that were not eligible for reimbursement.
State health Secretary Janet Stanek laid out the issue before the joint Legislative Budget Committee on Tuesday, explaining that an error was made in calculating how schools were reimbursed for the cost of providing services.
