An incoming state senator is going to make another run at ending the nuisance of changing our clocks twice a year.

Republican state Sen. Kenny Titus of Manhattan has prefiled a bill calling for the state to no longer observe daylight saving time.

Daylight saving time in the United States starts each year on the second Sunday in March when clocks are moved forward by an hour.

The clocks are turned back again to standard time on the first Sunday in November when it comes to an end.
