Gov. Laura Kelly on Friday named two new members to the Kansas Board of Regents.
Kelly named Peter Johnston of Salina to replace Lawrence attorney and former state Sen. Wint Winter.
She also named Matt Crocker of Manhattan to replace retired BNSF Railway executive Carl Ice.
If confirmed by the state Senate, they will serve four year terms.
Johnston is an attorney with the Salina firm of Clark, Mize & Linville.
He formerly served on the University of Kansas Law School's Board of Governors and the KU . . .
