Arrests made in shooting of congressman’s intern

Authorities in the nation's capital announced on Friday that they have arrested two teens stemming from the fatal shooting of an intern for U.S. Rep. Ron Estes.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro and D.C. Police Chief Pamela A. Smith said Jalen Lucas and Kelvin Thomas Jr., both 17, had been arrested and charged as adults in D.C. Superior Court with first-degree murder while armed. A third suspect is still wanted.

They were charged in the shooting death of Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, 21, of Granby, Massachusetts, on June 30.

He was fatally shot at about 10 . . .
