Marshall tells national TV audience he will be on ballot for re-election

Republican U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall told a national television audience on Sunday that he has no interest in taking a position with President Donald Trump's administration and would be on the ballot this year despite rumors swirling in Kansas.

Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, substitute host Ryan Nobles asked Marshall if there was a plan for him to resign with a Republican replacement being named to hold the seat through 2028, a hypothetical that has been floated by two Kansas news outlets.

"I will be on the ballot on Election Day, will be honored . . .
