Good morning everyone:
Nothing like when a trip from Kansas City to Wichita goes from about three hours to 4 1/2 hours on Interstate 35. So it was last Thursday afternoon when we became swamped in a traffic jam on the turnpike because of some type of crash that we couldn't even see. After we were stalled for about 20 minutes on the highway, the turnpike crew directed us off the interstate onto some kind of gravely path that took us through a farm field, back up over the interstate to the northbound lanes where we had to . . .
