Senate Minority Leader Dinah Sykes on Monday named a University of Kansas graduate as her new legislative director.
Sykes hired Tyler Boutte to fill a position previously held by Claire Regan, who is now the communications director for Sykes.
Boutte is a 2024 graduate of KU with bachelor’s degrees in political science and communications. He is now finishing his master’s in public administration.
He previously worked as an intern for U.S.Rep. Sharice Davids.
"I am thrilled to welcome Tyler to the team as a member of our staff,” Sykes said.
