The Kansas Democratic Party announced late Thursday afternoon that Andriy Bilyk is stepping aside as the party's executive director in August.
Bilyk will remain with the party through the end of August. Bilyk wasn't ready to disclose where he's headed, although he's expected to stay inside the state.
The party's deputy executive director, Jonathan Jones, will serve as the interim executive director through the end of the calendar year.
Jones has been with the Kansas Democratic Party for five years . . .
