Outgoing Republican Gov. Jeff Colyer's spokeswoman Kara Zeyer is leaving to become the communications director for Treasurer Jake LaTurner. Zeyer's last day was last Friday.
Zeyer began working as Colyer's press secretary in July 2017 as he transitioned from lieutenant governor to governor.
"I am grateful to Kara for her dedication and hard work while serving in my office,” Colyer said in a statement. “She has given her all as a member of our communications team, and I wish her the best as she moves on to this new opportunity.”
