Another one of Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's nominees is running into confirmation trouble in the Kansas Senate.
The Senate tax committee this week sent Kelly's nominee to the Kansas Board of Tax Appeals - Wichita lawyer Kristen Wheeler - to the full chamber without a recommendation.
