A new poll out from Emerson College shows Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly with a job approval rating of 39% among all Kansas adults.
The poll is an outlier from many other polls that have shown the governor with a job approval rating ranging as high as 58%.
Pollsters from Emerson College, which conducted surveys in last year's governor's race, said the difference with its poll was that it drew from all Kansas adults.
