The Kansas Livestock Association on Monday released its endorsements for this year’s general election.
Most notably missing are endorsements in the governor’s race and the 2nd District congressional race. The organization is expected to meet again soon to discuss those endorsements. They may change.
It’s worth noting that the Livestock Association did not endorse Kris Kobach when he ran secretary of state in 2014. Whether he will get their support in the governor’s race remains a question mark for now.
Meanwhile, the Livestock Association endorsed Republican Congressman Roger Marshall, Kevin Yoder and Ron Estes. It backed Republicans Scott Schwab for secretary of state, Derek Schmidt for attorney general and Vicki Schmidt for insurance commissioner.
Here are the endorsements for the House races. Only endorsements in competitive races are listed.
